With Tuesday night’s 17-7 victory over West Medford Little League, the NMLL 9-Year Old All Stars advance to the District 12 Jimmy Fund Tournament Finals. The final game will be hosted by NMLL at Gillis Park this Saturday, August 4th, as part of a full day of festivities, listed below.

9:00 am – 11:00 am: 10-Year Old Jimmy Fund Tournament Final (Everett vs. Medford Nationals)

11:30 am – 12:00 pm: Dedication of D12 Jimmy Fund Tournament in memory of Nick DeFelice. Nick was a 9-year old Malden West Little League player, who lost his 6 year battle to neuroblastoma this past June. All members of the NMLL community are invited to participate, as teams throughout District 12 come together at Gillis Park for the dedication ceremonies.

12:00 pm – 2:00 pm: 9-Year Old Jimmy Fund Tournament Finals (Medford Nationals vs. North Medford)
Over the past few weeks, the North Medford Little League All Stars have raised over $3,000 to benefit The Jimmy Fund. If you would like to support the NMLL All Star teams in their fundraising efforts for The Jimmy Fund, donations will be accepted on Saturday at the snack shack (checks payable to The Jimmy Fund). The Jimmy Fund Little League Program was co-founded in 1987 and has raised more than $3 million for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Throughout New England, this program gives more than 5,000 Little League baseball and softball players the chance to continue playing after their regular season ends. Off the field, these young heroes take to their communities to raise vital funds for the Jimmy Fund, while learning the importance of philanthropy and volunteerism.
